The Ventana Fund Board of Director’s developed an education initiative with a passion to diversify the organization’s borrower demographics. This initiative starts with providing an opportunity to educate and inspire the community and providing the tools that allow them to become investors.

Building Wealth in Investment Real Estate with this five-step, 7-week series is a hybrid course hosted by Ventana with the kickoff of the first class in-person located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The following 5 sessions will take place online wrapping up with a 2-hour in-person capstone overviewing the steps and applying the tools.

Learn to navigate the step-by-step process, from project analysis and loan underwriting to the fundamentals of investment real estate, financing, and closing on their first property. There will be an opportunity to understand the BRRR method and terminology associated with investments, including Cap Rates, IRR, Loan-to-Value, and debt-to-credit ratios.
